And Dad,Have you seen Ithe wa Wachinga?I talked with Mama today and what do you know?You must be very proud of her.I am.No tears today thank God.We laughed and made merry.You are always always with us.Right here in our hearts.We love you Awa.We always will.You were the bestest of the Fathers.By the way ,Ite wa Wachinga is with you now.I'm sure they do not have njokas aka monos in heaven do they? .If they do,please take good care of him okay.

Mama P na Tesh Thank you.I was just going down memory lane with my dad sought of ,may he rest in eternal peace.God took him to heaven on
Sept-13-2005 .That was his day.I listened to the music we listened and danced to together.He loved Sam Cooke.I loved Sam Cooke because my dad sooooo loved his music but funny enough,I still Love Sam Cookes music.

Hezeh Ndung'us music reminds me of my father and my fathers uncle,Grandpa Gichuki.He is also in heaven.He was of the Akorino church and when he visited,we never slept.We praised all night with him on his ndarama,my father on his guitar,me and my sis on the kayambas and oh we praised.When I listen to Hezeh,it makes me feel like they are still here praising with me.Crazy huh?But it gives me peace.

Wa-Thiga,your uncle,God rest his soul is in eternal peace, is free from pain,stress and all the daily sufferings we go thru.And he is not alone.He is with loved members who went before him and we will be there with them too.Sooner or later.

June 20th is exactly 4 years Dad since you left us and went to be with the Lord. Seems like just yesterday coz I still remember our conversations and ur extremely good sense of humour. I remember you used to ask me...ii cucu ahana atia? And I would tell u she's just there busy waiting for the Lord and that would crack you up like crazy. I would want to tell you that she's sill there etereire Mwathani...and ooh you would have been a grandpa now I have a lovely gal who's name is Hazel I bet you will be watching over her. You were a dad who was loved by all and your soul is now at rest. Sleep in peace because your work here on earth is done, a father's work--the best! Our hearts grieve for you but we know your living in peace within the house of God....till we meet again what a joy it will be!
