Huge loans were paid off and Kenya owed only 6.7 bn .Instead of financing Kenya on so called loans Kibaki financed it by taxes especially on ASIANS .What an example to Africa !
2. KIBAKI PLANNED that the 999 colonial leasehold was done away with .Only a Kenyan could own land and leasehold a maximum of 99 years.Eventually this land would be for resettlement of Africans .Those 100,000 acre ranchers and flower farmers first row beach plotters got a little nervous ?

How can a person who has served the Kenya system for 45 years in various capacities as MP, Asisstant Minister, Finance/Econ Minister, VP, Opposition Leader and finally President - have done so?

Kenya debt burdens have taken 45 years or more to rake up. And we are supposed to thank the Old Guard for having done so?

Has this become the truth now? That all the problems in Kenya are arranged by people with another colour on their skin?
And they jews run Wall Street, and the cyclops can be hit between it's eye, and...
I guess these far fetched ideas come from long nights of political talks and many beers. Maybe to many beers.

I can agree that some rich people and multinational companies from the "west" and Asia have a very colonial concept, or rather, they do anything to make money.
They are also a bit afraid when the poor Africans suddenly show less interest to them. Some might even pee in their pants...
But that they would sit back and enjoy the downfall of Kenya... no. We already know what happens to the so much wanted "investors" when there is a conflict. They run.

What everyone has to learn is that the majority of companies, anywhere in the world, do not take any social responsibilities if you do not force them to do so. Shell, GM, Nestle etc: they do not care about you! They only thing they care about is the cash and the demands from their stock holders. And there is no difference within the Kenyans companies. Who owns the big companies in Kenya, some even multinational? Wake up, look around you.

Someone, here at this site, had another conspiracy idea some weeks back. That the west was using Kenya to fight a battle against the growing Chinese economy and their involvement in Africa. Sure they want to carry on eating alone but please. Do you think China or the chinese care about you? The leaders in China do not even care of their own people.

What is great, as mentioned by "muthoni1", is that Kenya has developed a strong economy and it is only 5% of the gov budget that is donor money!
If it wasn't for a little bunch of bloody rich Kenyan's, some involved in politics, Kenya would have made those 5% to 0% this very week!
And then the donors and can keep their cake crumbs for themselves. Are you aware that India has asked donors to take a walk?

Another thing you could think about: the biggest "aid" project in modern history:
Was it donor money that created the "Asian tigers"?
The today very strong economies in South East Asia sure got a little help here and there from donors. But, probably the aid did never pay back for the losses they had from what all the wars brought on them costed.
I would say it that the cash hungry and "evil" western companies that placed their factories in Asia to use cheap labour that created those tiger economies.
First people where used, badly used, but they made more money than before nothing. Some local people made enough to start their own production and so on...
The hungry imperialists shot them-self in the foot. Now Asia is slowly coming to the west, buying hugh companies and maybe they will even become donors to the west in not to long from now.
Let the investors come but control them!

I have said it before. If the Kenyan politicians could leave their own bellies alone now and then and also create a sustainable social climate where everyone has at least a small chance in life, then Kenya and other African countries would pass the "west" very soon.
