Met the guy a couple of times and he is definately a genuine democrat:

quote:
”The former Kiharu MP said a rerun of the presidential election was the only way out of the current crisis, adding that a power-sharing agreement among politicians was not going to be fair to voters.”

“In the interest of democracy, all genuine democrats must abstain from taking the law into their own hands and cultivate a culture of tolerance and love for this country,” he said.

The Saba Saba Asili chairman was speaking at his party offices in Nairobi where he accused President Kibaki of perfecting the art of rigging elections also practised by his predecessor Daniel arap Moi.

He added that Kenyans had been denied a chance for proper governance by politicians who were only pushing their own interests.

Could not have said it better!

kwanzia hapa, matiba inaonekana amepoteza barabara. hio mambo ya re-run is a poor and wrong decision. from now on i don't feel him anymore.

am very shocked to realize President Kibaki has already fulfilled his campaing promise to kenyans that, this time round he will have a clean hand cabinet.

The following leaders in PNU have passed my litsmas test of being a president material after president Kibaki. the list is in a random sequence.

-martha karua
-kalonzo musyoka
-watengula
-tuju
-kenyatta
-saitoti
-michuki
-Awori(former vice president)
-marende(new speaker, odm)
-mogatana(sp?)
-mirungi(energy minister)
-koigi wamwere.

i would advice kenyans to cherish the above leaders listen, respect them and continue to work with them if they continue to deliver/perform as they have done so far.

these leaders have proven very competent they have made me happy and proud to have my kenyan roots. these leaders have the capability to take kenya to the next level. President Kibaki has picked some good leaders to work with this time round. if its not for odm unfounded domo. i expect kibaki and his team to make kenya shine bright. those leaders Kibaki is picking seem very competent. President Kibaki is doing a very spendid job when it come to picking competent and patriotic leaders for his team. kweli he knows those people his picking up. the competence of the leaders kibaki has so far picked up amazes and dazzle me. these leaders are also genius according to their deeds action, decisions and talk. i cannot say the same for anan and odm decisions and suggestions. these leaders Kibaki is picking as his team, are realy God send.

but i cannot say the same for most if not almost all odm leaders. infact if i had to say anything it would be the opposite.

PNU SUGGESTION IN THE ANAN MEDIATION ARE THE SANE AND RIGHT DECISIONS. ANANS AND ODM DECISION/SUGGESTION ARE FLAWED, WRONG, LAME AND THEY SEEM SELF CENTRED.

as expected, anan latest blunder is sinister. he must be accountable and be seen to be accountable for that very serious blunder the man(anan) may have started to show his true colours.

Well, I don't know all the things Matiba has in his luggage but to call him a tyrant, no?
