It is not Salim, and it is not Ruwa, but he is calling himself murimi. Let us take this to Kikuyu music section where it belongs

I do not have one for the moment. I heard that in New Jersey, they have a Mt Kenya restuarant. and there they have good nyamachona, some good music and of course kenyan beers. Whne I went there, it was closed, and I was unable to sample what they had to offer. I think we should avoid names like those names I posted though they are very creative.

Saji, you know we are well known for really messing our language.Sagana in Kikuyu is Thagana. As for Tana,Im sure its anothe tribe messing with the name.Sagana sounds Masai.

Getting off topic, there was this gentleman in my village known to everyone as -Mr Mathimiano-.
You can imagine the shock when he sent out his son's wedding invitations.

The cards read like this.
Mr and Mrs Mathew Miano cordially......

Me and my sisters were going,Say who?Who is that,we asked. When mama explained it was Mr Mathimiano,we could not believe it.

Oh,and this junction close to my home.It had this sign on the road,Keep Left. The villagers always said that they were going to -Kiburebuti.-Its in our DNA I guess. We will change and twist every other lanuage until it becomes like ours.

The change of consonant [t] to [s] appear to be quite natural to me. The most dramatic change is the deletion of the middle syllable. It is similar to the deletion of Kerenyaga in the derivation of Kenya

I wonder if there are other names like that.

But it is not only the Kikuyus who change the word pronunciation. You would not not like the way some wazungu pronounce the word kumi, and majority find it hard to pronounce our ng' unless they come at the end of the word.

I like Mathimiano. Its is just Brilliant.

I was wondering how it would taste like if I wrapped in a wheat flour chapo.Mmmmmmmmmm.I think thats what for dinner tonight.
