Like the concept. Here and there.
The swastika on a matatu. Not nice. Well, now primiary school is for free so we might have to see less of such things. In Kenya it becomes a symbol of low education.

Well the Swastika symbo is offesive to some, but it is also a sign of good luck in India. We do not know what the Matatu guys wanted to mean here.

I however disagree with you on the connection between the matatu and low education. I have already come across two scholarly work on Matatu decorations. You would be amazed at all the signification that go along with those symbols.

About swastika....Prince Harry the son of prince Charles,was once snapped with a swastika wristband..is it a case of Low education also???To Nini.
Cant really understand what these phots are out to display or mean...Can someone out there assist me???

Hi,

I had no idea of that meaning of low education. There seems to be quite some disagreement on it.

Anyway, is there being made a distinction in Kenya or East Africa between the clockwise swastika (like on the matatu) and the counter clockwise swastika which Hitler chose for the nazi's to use?

Clockwise or not and whatever history the swastika has I still feel sick seing it and I meant before that it is low eductated and igonarant people that uses it.
