They did us proud and congratulations to their efforts. Many of the media commentators here are complaining why a poor country like Kenya performance is excellent while a big economy like Japan can only manage 1 bronze.

Our athletes have done us Proud once again. its about time that The Govt treated them like they should be.Honour them with in the right manner. Though i feel it has really improved in terms of rewarding them. When will KFF ever learn From them?

Jambo Sana,

You should tell the naysayers that our athletes use sports to run away from poverty and help in developing the poor country.

i guess being poor is just a perception of the west.If you visit my home town eldoret and see the buildings put up by these athletes utashangaa. Then those kenyans representing other countries,i still see it as a kenyan win, without us maybe U S of A would be number two thanks to the two gold medals by Bernard Lagat.Congrats to NDEREBA,she did us proud!

A belated congratulation to all those beautiful kenyan people who once again made our flag soar high.It is no longer a secret-sport is a multi billion dollar industry. Imagine if all those idlers i find in central province major towns were to take up athletics as a major career?? What would that do to the villages?? Somebody need to educate the youth and market other alternatives like sports. Education is good but it is not everything.Once more, kudos to these beautiful countrymen and women!!!

There are whispers that every medal winner will be honoured by the Gava. KFF, over to you!!

There are three sides to every argument: your side, my side and the right side.
