I wish him the best at Barca. But nobody should write Arsenal off. It's still a formidable team with or without Henry. Most probably this will give the upcoming stars an opportunity to show what they're worth. Ardent Arsenal Supporter

i agree, at times teams/clubs become overly dependent on certain key players and down play other potentially good players whom they never get to know their worth unless and until those "key" players are either out with injuries or out coz of bookings etc. i remember like in Cameroon there was Patrick Mboma who was always on their line up and though he was a good player, he couldnt play in some match i think coz of injuries or something and they brought in some player called Pius Ndiefi who was great plus the advantage of not being overly marked like Mboma was and he did wonders so, yes, this will make us see other players who would otherwise be benched to allow Henry who plays the whole 90 minutes!! so, lets watch that space! Ardent Arsenal fans i know u shall miss him dearly lakini tuone atamanage aje na kina Etoo, na Lionel Messi

Wa Kariuki, That happened too to Brazil in 1998 World Cup when they had to field Ronaldo much as he was down with flu. They were of course thrashed 3-0 by France. We will surely miss Henry. I'll have to watch a no. of matches by Barcelona (my favorite team in La Liga) to get used to Henry in that red/blue stripe.
......so what will happen if Wenger leaves? The Gunners board messed up things when they pushed Dein out, now the club (like they say) is distablized.Woe unto them.
how come i have never heard of a kenyan soccer fun who's a fan of other football clubs other than CHELSEA, Arsenal,Man-U, Liverpool, Barca,Real and AC? I think Gideon Moi is the only exception here....
So whats this GTV thing? lets brace ourselves for a variety of live matches.

I wonder how he will fit in in a already world class team.the style he plays means he and Ronaldinho will have to take alot of time to understand each other but then they are professionals they get paid to that and some more!!

When I was in Mauritius I noticed an interesting trend. In Mauritius, the big fun base is Liverpool - it was amazing. Even in sports shops, they give prominence to Liverpool jerseys in their display. Most of the guys I saw donning team jerseys were Liverpool. In Seychelles, I did a little survey, I counted 8 guys donning team jerseys - 7 had Arsenal's jerseys (various, Emirates, O2...) and 1 had a Man U one (vodafone)

And this is exactly what is happening. The full potential of these young lads is really out. They thrashed SK Slavia Praha 7-0 in Champions League group stage.
This is how uefa.com reported it: "Arsenal FC equalled the record UEFA Champions League victory on Tuesday, brushing aside SK Slavia Praha 7-0 with a masterful display of slick, passing football."

Ndianyama, Are you still maintaining Arsenal is finished? Ukuigua uguo! And for your information, Wa Kihia is an ardent fan of Mourinho's former team

. Sajini, Good luck. Liverpool is not performing very well both domestically and in Europe despite the hype that they are strong contenders to a double this season. But it's still early. I vowed when Arsenal seemed to be at its lowest with the departure of Henry that even if it went to Coca Cola championship (Div 2), I'll still stick with it. I still keep that vow.

Ngunjiri. I am a loyal fan who does not desert his team. Did you hear what those guys did?

Sajini, That's the spirit. Stick to what you believe in. Wow! 8-0! I watched the whole of that match and those boys had the drive to win! They did not stop attacking.
