I really sympathise with all on this. Been through this too.

Yes, we the normal investors have endured drama just to invest. meanwhile, the stock is still on a lower trajectory and murmurs around that some of the big players want to sell slowly.

howeverm there are a few silent investors who did nothing and got 5% of all monies accepted. jeez, some people are so lucky. 5% and all they did was sign some papers.

Those in mumbling incoherently and appear dazed are those who took loans to buy the shares. The pain continues.

Does increase in the assets of the company (through retained profit) represent a proportionate increase in the value of shares and therefore the shareholders wealth? My answer would be no because though the market takes cognizance of the intrisic value of a share that value is not the only price determinant. The price is determined on the market floor and it is this price(so determined) multiplied by the No. of shares held that equals the shareholders wealth, the management's Job can further be norrowed down to "maximising the market price of the share"

That statement has now been proved by the market! look at the share price of Safcom now has the wealth of the pre existing shareholders gonu up or down?
The stock exchange is a MARKET and the only price determinants are DEMAND and SUPPLY thius is the reason Safcom prices are depressed because DD exceeds supply. quote NSE chairman ...We are disappointed. We thought they came to invest but they came to speculate.

My advise if you missed on the IPO buy NOW! at five bob minus pain of queing. Its buyers market you know.

I agree this is the best time to buy, especially those whose risk apetite is high. But I guess for the existing investors, it's a wait and see attitude as few are willing to sink some more, with the trend the market has taken.
