have you noted that kenyans abroad are living suspicious of each other as compared to other nationals like Nigerians, south africans etc.
I have noted that if a Kenyan has a problem abroad, he/she is easily helped by the other blacks, whites, asians but not his own people.
why do most kenyans hide where they live, work, phone numbers, etc unlike other nationalities? why should a Kenyan swindle another kenyan? why should you find another Kenyan in trouble and just look on?,
its high time we start seeing the brotherhood in us, the sense of having one thing in common-we are kenyans...be happy for each other in times of good and be there for each other in bad times. I have learnt this from the brothers(nigerians) they easily say that any black is their sister or brother just to bail them out of trouble. They too have alot of weaknesses, but this one strength, we should learn from them.
what do you think?

Mama P,I hear you. There are many Kenyans where I am.The frustrating thing is that instead of having a Kenyan get together,we will have a Kiuks,Kisiis,Luos etc etc get togethers. As if that wasn't bad enough, the Kiuks are sought of divided into Kiambu,Murang'a and Nyeri. It is very sad.
Nigerians too are into the Ibos and the Yorubas. But when something bad happens to one of them, they come together and help. My best friend here is Nigerian. Her kids are my kids and vice versa.Do you know there is no Kenyan here I can say that about.I personally do not frequent Kenyans get togethers cause wanakunywa sana. And I mean drink pombe. They also gossip.A lot.People back home will know things about you that not even you know. And that's one of the reason why people stay away from each other.I think.

Mama P Na Tesh,I hear you.My son is back home too and he is always on my mind.He is all we talk about. It hurts. We talk every other day on the chat line. It's cheaper that way cause you do not pay for the talking.Sometimes I'm up late at night so we could chat.Hug your boys for me.They must miss their brother. It is hard.
You are right.I think it's Kenyans everywhere.

Funny, now that you mention it. I think you're right. You mean that kenyans should, when out abroad, see each other as one? And not as divided in ethnicity and so on?
