Paka Mwitu;
We all come in different SHAPES and SIZES. We all have STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES. What's right for one person may not be right for another. There are things that are important to me that you don't care about at all! And sometimes your sentiments don't make any sense to me. But the way foward is for us to understand each other, and communicate well, because we live together in the same world.
I know I can't expect you to want the same things that others want. We are not the same person, so we will not always see things the same way. We all have our own thoughts and Ideas, which may or may not fit into your vision of who or how people should be and behave.

Wakanyugi,

Precisely.You seem to corroborate my argument without realising it.What i hate is uniformity being marketed as rational conformity.To me, most traditions dont make sense at all. It is in the pursuit of this that i pose some serious questions, albeit in jest.Quite honestly, i find ordinary boring.There must always be a second to any opinion no matter how obvious it looks.

You rightly observe that we come in different shapes, colour and sizes. Those differences must also reflect the diversity in opinions and thinking.I find it rather intriguing how people get shepherded into a particular way of thinking inspite of all the diversity. I believe no meaningful invention is possible without continous improvement.This comes through challenging the existing norms, beliefs, systems and way of thinking.

Ever heard of dictatorship of the majority?? It is when majority of the people create certain societal norms (whether right or wrong) and forcibly enforce them to rest of the unwilling populace.While most people find my observations wierd, i consider them as a challenge to monotonous status quo, without which progress is hard to comeby.That is why i put that disclaimer in anticipation of backlash from members.

Remember the catholic church, in their narrow shortsighted and conformist attitude ended up beheading Galileo by claiming that the world was round.I dare to dream, but more importantly,i try to push those dreams to fruitation. I however respect your observations ,thoughts and ideas.

But on a lighter note, i will send you an experiment via you email that will forever change your perspective of life.

I've been to a beautiful wedding reception held at Darling St, Toorak. I'm not sure about the details exactly, but i think it's a pretty well known wedding venue
