Jambo All,
On a number of occasions i have been invited and declined these Mburi ya Kiama' feasts ... in the first place the organizers are not people I respect and would rather rewind history to erase them from my life ... secondly who says that by paying KShs. 15,000 or more makes me a more respectable elder? ... I have been told that after three or five goats I will be initiated into the Gikuyu community ... what am I now? Mathira Mundu "hungu iguaga itari ninge" |
