On Saturday, he visited Eldoret in the Rift Valley, scene of some of the worst post-election violence took place and spoke to refugees living in camps. "We saw gross and systematic abuse of human rights, of fellow citizens and it is essential that the facts be established and those responsible held to account," he said. Fundamental changes, he added, were needed in Kenya to prevent a repetition of inter-ethnic violence. "We cannot accept that periodically, every five years or so, this sort of incident takes place and no-one is held to account," he said.

It all comes down to securing a just environment for my kids to grow up in, for my people to go about their biasharas without being targeted because of wivu. They can keep their guilty thugz. Everyone has a concious, i guess..and if that is so, their quest to live through a day without being haunted by the cries and screams of the women and children they BBQ in a kanitha, or those of their neighbours that they chased like chicken and hacked 'em to death...neighbours of many years..that is not for me to worry. There is too much hypocracy in the Kenyan society, and that ugly face is being unveiled kidogo, kidogo, as the days go by. My prayer is, let that face, unveil it's self on the other side of the hedge, after i have secured my perimetre and baptised my new, ''majimbo''.

@Kanyoni-ka-Nja There are three things you do when under attack: 1. Run away as fast as you can hoping your flight will take you clear from the source of your torment. (This is what makes you live to fight another day) But remember 1992 and 2002. 2. Fight back your aggressor hoping that you may overcome him. If you hit the aggressor hard enough, he will think twice about subduing you. Doubt of his abilities will creep in and he may, flee or increase the fury of attack 3. Surrender and let the victim torment and violate you (You will heal the scars later)
In the case of the present violence, what would you advise among the three options?
