for the first time i agree with wamaitu, there ought to be some sort of conduct/limits, in as much as we are all adults but its good to have some set ways of doing certain things so that we dont cross boundaries in the name of humor. maybe we all should give it some more thought and see how it goes

As much as I agree that we should all restrain ourselves from vulgarness, I really don't see how this would work here unless there's a kind of moderator.
Currently and unfortunately, kik.com is open to anything one can put down in writing, moderating a site as such, with so much info and so much being input daily would employ someone or even a few people full time.
I think it will be upto us to exercise self control, unless our beloved Admin has something to say.
Karumba, exactly my point. this should be dealt here and now and not wait for the meeting (the meeting should be used to re-emphasise). there is highly need for integrity in this site. some of us are in it because it is relatively self-moderated i.e. members and contributors exercise high level of decorum which i must say, so far so good.
ngunjiri i beg to ask that we remove the members t-shirt as an agenda since we will all be in the t-shirts if all goes according to plan maybe it should be under AOB to see how members in diaspora can get theirs.

True. the code of conduct should be exercised amongst ourselves. those who associate closely with each other like at the bashes and stuff like that. i dont know how else we can leave it open since new members will log in and use all the words they may want like it happened sometimes back. However, i must congratulate(head held high) the members of Kik.com for upholding dignity they all refrained from contributing in some abusive posts that were posted here sometimes back and that was so impressive. lets uphold discipline.
It was also so cool to see guys relate so well during the first bash.you would have thought there was a supervisor around.
on the agenda, i suggest that a committee be formed to make arrangements and deal with the items suggested above before we leave coz we dont want to have last minute rushes.
Ngunjiri have you talked to Wanji lately?

I particularly liked Eateries cos it's relatively quiet, reasonably priced, centrally located and has very comfy seats. So I would suggest we hold the formal meeting there and since Wangu had called me jana with an offer to buy me chicken as his mentor, we can relocate after. What do others think?

It is fruitless to attempt to indoctrinate a superannuated canine with innovative maneuvers.
