REALLLY, "Piss you off..." whatever for? By stating the obvious, I have stepped on a few toes.

CONSIDER THE FACTS.

1. Who was the prime target of the infamous Molo Clashes?

Kikuyus. Why? They invaded the Rift Valley and settled in Land that was not theirs in the first place- courtesy of Kenyatta and "passing cloud" Moi. When challenged by Jean Marie Seroney, Moi was silent on this issue- becaues he was serving as his master. Seroney was telling of a time when the Kalenjin would be fed up with the level of Kikuyu arrogance and boot them out.

What was the response? Several fled to the nearby towns of Nakuru ( Causing a Rise in Social costs and the crime rate). Many including some who participate in this forum became "exiles" and lined up at the US and UK Embassies looking to flee. Quite a number - particularly the Kikuyu- who were not affected by these clashes chose to play the system to their advantage. It is now near impossible for genuine travellers to get Visas to travel either to the UK ( Europe ) and the USA. THE TRUTH HURTS.

2. After assuming office Kibaki made several promises. Some that he has been unable to keep. He has slowly but surely surrounded himself with members of a particular community- need I elaborate? Even when some of his key allies were mentioned in corrupt scandals, he has become judge and juror - allowing them back through the back door for political mileage. This will be his Achilles heel.

3. The Euphoria that engulfed Kenya in 2003 has ebbed away- encouraged by Angloleasing, Armenian scandals etc. The Key players in both these scandals besides the foreigners are ...(drum roll...) K.I.K.U.Y.U.S!

4. Now who wants to grab Lenana School land? A Maasai? A Somali? A Kalenjin... (drum roll...) A

5. Who is responsible for the rot that permeates our society via Mungiki. Of course Ndura is a Luhya right? He is a Luhya because maybe his mother did not really know his father. Am I right? Whoever heard of a Luhya called Waruingi?

I am new to this website, i was reading some of the posting on this particular subject that totally depress me, for one you all come across as being tribalist why, your arguements are so narrow, the same problem we have with most of our leaders. I am from the kikuyu tribe but prefer to be refered as a kenyan, i am proud to be kikuyu but i feel people take this tribal thing or association abit too far, things or grouping like mungiki or kamjesh or whatever they are called should not exist coz they have no place in the present day kenya, juneaprilmay has some point but is very poor in the way he is pitting them across, but i think he is also narrow minded to some extent and only stereotypes basically every kikuyu to be a landgrabber, angloleaser and all the evil deeds, i support that tough action be taken against all this people regardless of whatever tribe they come from coz we use one law "kenyan" law, i am a supporter of odm, an Raila to be precise, and truth be said alot of the people in office today, including the president owe alot to raila. For one he has been at the forefront in the fight for democracy, detained and has a stand, not tainted, dont mention mollases he paid for it, be it undervalued, we need a firm hand in power, not people who are an decided or dont have firm stand on issues. That said there are bad elements within ODM i dont like, and hope they are not elected, Nark-k has a few good elements too but kibaki has to go, we elected narc in 2002 but what do we have now a hybrid called a govn of notional unity who elected this guys, its a shame, its time we had good leadership, i am sick and tired of this thing about kikuyus cant elect a luo coz he is not circumcised, totally sick u tell me how many whites are circumcised, and how good they are in leadership or what the skin has to do with it, and by the way whether its akikuyu or luo leading us, i have to work as hard as everyone else only his wife, children and close relative benefit directly we as kenyans benefit when we have good roads,employment, education, zero brain drain, zero tolerance to corruption, etc we up guys we are all kenyans

While i might have come acroos very strongly on some issues i like the discussions here and want to be a positive contibutor of ideas, anyone negative, and not serious on discussion should be ignored. i like the ndai and other stuff and we should promote kikuyu in that regard but not politically.
