you can say that again. even if Arsenal was to be relegated to 5th division, i will still be a fan. and to accept defeat is a sportsman/woman's goodwill gesture. what annoys me is the arrogance of some "fans" like you can see here.

Three football fans( Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United) went to visit Saudi Arabia for the Holidays. They had so much fan that they forgot it was a crime to take beer in that land.

So the fans were arrested and locked up. they sent their appologies to the king and requested for an appointment with Him to plead their case.
It was granted

The King however, told them that they would be punished for their crime but since they had appologised, they would be given a chance to make a wish. The punishment would be Twenty strokes of the cane(whip)

The first casualty was the Chelsea fan, The King Requested him to make a wish before the canes were administered on his bare behind. so he made a wish and told the King that he would want ten cushions to be tied on his behind. the wish was granted.midway, the cane tore through the cushions and the Chelsea fan began to bleed.he bled so much that the king closed his eyes in awe.

It was time for the Arsenal Fan. the king told him to make a wish. and he was like. 'tie twenty cushions on my behind'. the wish was granted. on the sixteenth cane the whip tore through the cushions and he started bleeding. he cried out so loud but the king had on mercy for this disgruntled element.

It was time for the Man U geek. the king told him. 'You support one of the most famous football clubs. i am so impressed and for that i grant you two wishes'
the geek was so excited. so he went ahead to praise the King

' i am so honoured to be at your palace my Lord. my first wish is to request you to give me a hundred strokes of the cane for you are a great man'
'Very well', said the King. 'and what is your second and last wish?'
the geek smiled and said ' tie the arsenal fan on my behind'

For the first time i bow down to that defeat,we played bad bt we ave ourself to blame.

Our players who are the bst in the wolrd had injuries or were rested due to various reasons.

We neva give up the spirit is still there bt with no Kolo toure ni kumbaya!!!
