To those who participated and/or contributed towards that worthy cause, tunasema Ahsante.

We had promised to take to them some shavers(shaving machines) and a blow dryer for the girls. We had set the date for the Visit as October 10 lakini we can ammend that to accomodate those who want to contribute. eve food stuff and old/unused/ones you dont need clothes are welcome.

Thanks Wa-Kihia for this communication.... slight correction.. the visit is suppoosed to be on 20th October 2007. We will be meeting this Wednesday 3rd Ooctober 2007 (Tomorrow) at Eateries Restaurant(opposite City Hall) to discuss the way forward. The meeting will start at 6PM. You are all welcome!

Thank you all for this noble idea. Is the meeting on Wed 03 October to give our contributions or what is the agenda for the meeting.

Not necessarily, though anyone wanting to contribute then can do so or pledge to give on a certain date. The idea is to organize for the whole event and know what resources we have and what we need. its a brainstorming meeting basically.

Keep the nyumba informed through this forum or otherwise since not all of us can make it physically to the venue but are together and willing to assist materially whenever possible. Keep up with the good work and be blessed.

ISSUES DISCUSSED:

We set the date for the visit to Huruma Childrens home to be on 20th October 2007 as earlier communicated.

The Shavers and Blowdriers costs will be confirmed in the next meeting after negotiations with the sellers.

All present made their pledges and collections will follow later....

We asked all members to inform their friends who would be ready to support this worthy cause.

The next meeting will be on 12th October 2007 at Sandton Hotel - next to Uchumi Taveta at 6PM.Pledges to be honoured then to facilitate purchase of the items.
