I have received a chain email forward with the subject "Re: Fwd: YAHOO IS CLOSING DOWN (READ AND FORWARD)". This is a hoax. I first questioned the poorly written and presented email. I "googled" and "yahooed" and sure enough I discovered it's a hoax.
I particularly liked this statement from one of the sites I visited, "If Yahoo! has a message they want you to see, it will appear on your login page, not via a "forward this to 20 people" e-mail. Break this Chain!"
Just to let you know if you receive such an email.
I have recived that mail since time in memorial and my yahoo account has never been shut down. That's a gimmick for the guys who send spam to get people's email addresses!!

Any mail you receive that "threatens" "send this to 10 pple or you wont......" "you must forward this to 20 for good luck....." bla bla bla is bull crap. Simply just ignore it.

Wamaitu, kwani you forwarded to 50 people? pole. any email that comes from Yahoo! and MSN (Hotmail) will always have their identity and you cannot miss it. That forward was so flawed you could pick out its fakeness from 100 miles away!
I also received one and many similar ones"pass this to 10,5,20 and you will receive a miracle,blessing,fortune,.....the list is endless!! I delete them even before reading!!

Some even promise to give you mobile phones, laptop computers, and other goodies. This is how pple get to know of email addresses and jam your inbox with junk/spam. I guess the best thing is to delete them. I do that too.
Ive received quite a number of them & ive just been ignoring them, coz what i think is that thre is a business rival that wants to hook up the yahoo customers.

Ithe wa Joel, Ni urorite muno kinya tugakuaga biu. Karibu tena. Guku nyumba no iratherema. Those emails just look fake and it's easy to identify them. Even the ones that say you forward to xx pple and cc a legitimate looking email address are also hoaxes.
