1. Introduction: Those who were present were very excited to meet for the first time so they engaged in a comprehensive introduction and a lot of pleasantries.

2. Get-together: After considering all the suggestions that had been received from all corners, members felt that it was prudent to have 2 gatherings so that they would cover the interests of all. The maiden gathering was therefore slotted for Saturday, February 24, 2007 starting at 10AM. The venue will be LE VANS Restaurant, Upper Hill (near KASNEB). The second meeting will be in April 2007, at a date to be set in the February gathering. Word was to be spread to all so that the turn-out would be phenomenal.

3. AOB
 Sajini called from the U.S and talked to the members present. It was fantastic!
 The committee was able to catch Maria on the phone and talk to her. How wonderful!
 Wanji joined those present via the Net, greeted and encouraged them. Everyone’s face was beaming with joy!
 Kariuki volunteered to take care of the drinks for that day as he had earlier reported. The committee expressed their deepest appreciation for that kind gesture.
 In line with our kikuyu tradition, in that kind of “ndia” (feasting), we carry our own “rigu”, except our visitors (like Maria) who we will entertain and make them feel at home. Rigu witu tugakua uri tung’otore tuigana una tua gucinithia kanyama.

Overall it was a meeting where everybody had an admirable sense of resourcefulness and versatility.
