I thought it a good idea to share a few words with you all about my life.I was brought up in a very poor family where basic needs were a luxury. There was a land dispute and my dad was chased away from our land.We went to Mbeere(it's a very dry land and drought is rampant)because my dad had bought a land so many years ago.We used to perform so well in school and we were always in the top3(We are ten in my family 9girls and 1boy.This may sound like a fairy tale but it is very true.Seven of us were sponsored by starehe boys through high sch and university!Currently our only brother is in Starehe boys and is performing so well.Ther is a lot to share with you guys.We feel so blessed and we thank God for everything.I am the only one in the states and I am asking God to show me the way so my sisters can join me.I wanted to encourage you all and tell you that no matter what you are going through right now God will always provide a way out.I hope you are encouraged! God bless.

thank you guys for sharing your expiriences with us, sometimes we just live our lives and have no idea what others go thru but by sharing we learn from each other not to take anything we are currently blessed with for granted. God is faithful, all we have to do is believe in his word that is yea and amen. Jane, God will make a way even for your sisters if it is in his purpose, just pray and seek to know his purpose for you and your sisters.
Njung'e, thats a wonderful thing, am glad you are getting your education, work hard and God will indeed reward your efforts..
am so touched by your stories, May all your dreams come true...

Jane,
That was such an encouraging piece. I remember having been in some similar predicament when my dad was almost thrown out of the shamba when I was in my last year of university! Pleas to his brothers to at least let me clear fell on deaf years for obvious reasons but God was faithful, I got a sponsorship for the whole year and cleared with no problems.
