Education is neccessary.........actually to some extent it should be mandatory. It gives one knowledge therefore opening up ones mind to greater things. However, do kenyans put too much emphasis on acadamic leverage ignoring other aspects of life? Am not saying guthoma ti kwega, but do we have enough Beckams, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordans, Serena Williamses, Brad Pitts, Opras, Piccassos and the likes sitting among us but their potential will never be fully realized. Is it true that if our education system was built in a way to support co curricula activities we would see pple excelling in other areas not necessarily in the classroom. That our acadamic system highly overated? Athelics is a very good example of the school of thoughts that am in........

That is very true,
i remember when we were small, asking for anything apart from books and pencils from our parents was a problem.
they fully believed that anything besides books was a No No.
our parents even complained to the headmaster that P.E. was wasting our precious time, time that we were suppposed to be burries in books.
Have you realized that We grow up not knowing our talents? we are never given a chance to discover our talents like drawing, painting, or even running. poor us!!
