Hi, For those who have been trying to tune to Kameme FM online in vain, here is a lead I got via email from the system administrator at Kameme and thought of sharing it with you. I tried and it is working. Enjoy kayu ka muingi.
Papa Daad, Kameme ni gatigagia muno ndikendete muno na muno muno Fri niundu wa muthuri uguitwo Kihenjo ukaga mathaa ma hwa-ini. Unfortunately I seem to have deleted that email he sent me. But since you are in Nairobi, call 315087 and ask to talk to IT manager.
"Hi. Im really sorry about this problem but would assure you that by end of day today, everything will be sorted out.I was in a fix after a virus came thru email and this messed my bandwidth to a point of Maximization.Im working on this problem currently and hope to be back online by end of business today. I agree, Kameme has had it's share of problems but I don't blame them. They're really trying being a small time radio station, that is compared to the other big boys. I guess bandwidth I is their major problem.
I put a link on my website and it mostly works, check it here mwangi.co.uk
Ngunjiri, Thanks a lot for talking to teh kamme peopel. I got the link without any problem. I was so happy to listem to the News in Kimeru, though dissapointed by Kuria Kanyingis foolishness that Raila will be the first one to say Kibaki Tosha.
It is always good to connect with others. However I have a qustion. when I listened, to a certain Mr Karongo, who kept on repeating that he just came from his leave. Is it common to have kameme using a combination of English Sheng and Swahili, more than Gikuyu?
I am not a language purist, but it is just a question.
