Jane and Sajini, I have sent the tshirts with a lady who lives in North Carolina (wherever that is in this globe!) using contact address for Sajini. I hope they reach you guys. Both t-shirts will go to Sajini then he will organize how they willl reach California.

MEMBERS I DO APPRECIATE THAT THE T-SHIRTS R NICE INFACT I BOUGHT THE HIGHEST NUMBER BUT AM PROPOSING A CHANGE ON THOSE T-SHIRT FOR THEM TO BE MORE ATTRACTIVE ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN COSMOPOLITAN TOWNS LIKE NAIROBI & MOMBASA .
SO THIS IS MA ENTITLED OPINION.
INSTEAD OF HAVING "PROUD KIKUYU APPROACH WITH CAUTION" WE CAN HAVE "NYUMBA YA MUMBI APPROACH WITH CAUTION".
AND AT THE BACK WE SHLD ONLY HAVE " CIA GIKUYU TI COMO" INSTEAD OF WHAT WE HAVE " CIA GIKUYU TI COMO TUTUIRE TWI MBERE".
YES THE STATEMENT IS TRUE WE KNOW THAT BUT THIS DOES NOT SOUND OK COZ I WE ALL HAVE PALS FROM ALL THE COMMUNITIES N HONESTRY NO ONE WILL BE COMFORTABLE WHEN WITH SUCH PALS N IT SOUNDS MORE TRIBAL REMEBA MEMBERS THE OBJECTIVE OF KIKUYU.COM IS NOT PROMOTING TRIBALISM AND THEREFORE WE SHLD NOT SEEM TO BE DOING THAT. I KNOW MANY MIGHT DISAGREE WITH ME BUT THIS IS THE REALITY N BEING AN ELECTION YEAR NO ONE WLD LUV TO BE IN TROUBLE FROM OTHER COMMUNITIES COZ WE R ONE FAMILY CALLED KENYA.PERIOD
i hear you Wamaitu, i wore it and of course there are few kyuks who said it was good and even wanted some, i have a feeling it might raise issues especially here in Kisumu with the politics here and that luo kyuk stuff but i decided should it raise i will just not wear it... someone actually said it was very tribalistic but i asked why people wear their jaluo in the house and no one asks them and when i do they ask... well it was a colleague so it was all in a light note but i know it can bring isues when they decide so....
