The PM and the VP have are fighting over who should adress public rallies just before the president.Sections of both ODM, ODM-k and PNU are already crying foul over cabinet appointments. i wish they had told us that once we elect them and the president fails to make them ministers, then they will make this country burn! what a rotten lot

We all hope for a better Kenya but the people we have elected are failing us. RAO is doing every thing to undermine the government. You look at the media and Raila gets more coverage every day than any other politician. I know he pays for these kind of services, can the government counter this? The Nation and the standard are all one sided on coverage. This is continuing to divide the country. Raila was rewarded with PM, he either support the government and work on helping the displaced or quit the govrnment and remain in the oposition and prepare for 2012. Every day he is working to tear down the country. How much more can the struggling Kenyans take?
Guys, there are no surprises! The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour! What we have is a bunch of recycled rotting, shamesless politicians only worried about themselves. Right now they are trying to position themselves for 2012, they don't care about the IDPs, the masses who are poor and improvished! It's about them! I honestly think the person who can look out for the people right now is Kibaki, his politcal career ends in the less than 5 years. However, he doesn't have the toughness needed to captain this heavy, thorny and very unsteady ship. Kenyans, we reap what we sow! Time to wake up! Kenya needs new leaders. Honestly, what did kenyans really expect Raila to do for them? Have you all noticed how confused he looks lately? Put pressure on him to perform, he has the job now, he needs to deliver, to all Kenyans.

Given the current political climate, in the Kenya, I believe the US is making a big mistake by courting Raila. Rice has invited Raila and his team to the US. This invitation can be seen as putting the leadership of Kenya under Raila. Kibaki is still the main leader of the country and there should be no confusion about that. Inviting Raila not the president (who can send the PM or the VP) sets the wrong tone for international and domestic policies. I think the US needs to step aside and stop dictating leadership in Kenya. Kenya is a bomb waiting to burst unless proper measures are taking to calm the impeding tensions. No one goes to bed with Raila and wins, the US and Kenyan people are about to find that out. It is all about him and himself only
poster Shaban is bull-eye with his analyzation of odinga and usa hidden agenda. usa has also and is still using its proganda machine/media like cnn to endear odinga to the world. usa is busy using odinga to implement its agenda of regime change in kenya. usa should stop hiding under international concern con-game since its the only country with its few western stooges like canada and uk etc that have shown suspect interest in kenya affairs.
odinga local stooges washing him off his corruption should be scrutinized carefully. am talking of those mungiki leaders and NGO'S portraying odinga as kenya redeemer. these ploy should fail.
Kibaki government should tell off usa and its pesky kenyan based ambasador. kenya has been succesful despite all the travel ban by usa. kenya does not need the fast decaying usa that is of no consequence to the rest of the world today.
Mr.Ranneberger should stay out of Kenya Politics. Enforcing US supremacy in a small country like Kenya is close to being enslaved by a supper power. He is taking sides on this debate and obviously supporting ODM. His responsibility is not to act as a governor of Kenya but to represent US interest in the country. Kenya's envoy to US Mr. Agego can never attempt to act the way Ranneberger is acting. You flip the coin and the story is very different. Ranneberger needs to go back to US and before his term is over. His actions are inciting hate and causing confusion in the international arena as to who is in charge of the government of Kenya. It is not Raila, but Kibaki, then the VP and PM third. This is the order of government business. People are dying in Rift valley and the US AID is too late. The falling dollar is not going to help Kenya's situation. Kenya must continue to partner with China and reduce her dealings with US.
