The Cockar report shows clearly that Kimunya did what he was entitled to do if that is right or wrong, it is a matter of conjecture!

Parliament must accept the humble pie and let Kimuya do his work.

By throwing out the report, the MPs ensured that Mr Kimunya’s public standing remained since the recommendation that he was unfit to hold a ministerial position was also purged.

Yes where are the Kimunya bashers, now that Parliament has thrown out its erroneous report! Where are you gentlemen please rise up and apologose to Honourable Kimunya

I do not think that the throwing out of the parliamentary report is because it is without merit.

Remember the KILIKU and Akiwumi reports? In the Kiliku case, it was dismissed by teh executive as scandalous and hearsy, with one of its authors actually voting against it. Does it mean that it was without merit? And can we not say that in a way, the 2008 political violence could have been minimized if parliament acted on it.

Parliamentary commissions have always turned in good reports, but when they threaten the status quo, the establishment work overtime to purge the report from parliamentary records.

Kimunya is guilty, and the rejection of the Parliamentary report does not clear him. It only means that the executive has buldozed its will.

Muhuthia,
One of the tactics Hitler used was to repeat the same lie over and over again until Germans started to think it was the truth. To me,COCKAR report stands as the only credible one where both sides were given chances to adduce evidence of corruption;one side failed dismally;now they are now running to the parliamentary report made by politicians!! what a discordance? One day we're condemning them for their unpatriotic selfishness and untrustworthiness, the other day we're singing praises of their reports!
Impropriety isn't corruption;someone needs to be able to distinguish that and move on.
