AT LAST (I HOPE)

As we draw closer to seeing the perpetrators of the Goldenberg, Anglo Leasing scam being brought to book we will witness a comedy of errors and lies that will lead us to either break down into tears of anguish or fall all over ourselves in laughter.

How unfortunate are we in Kenya, that after 43 ruinous years of misrule, plunder and outright theft we are about to go through another 5 years of the same.

Are we truly cursed?

Are we ever going to pull ourselves out of this quandary?

We had an opportunity in 2003 to really make a leadership difference in the way forward for the political direction of the Greater East African Region if not the whole world.

Where did we go wrong?

We elected Mwai Kibaki to lead us and due to his perverted thought process, he has taken us back to the dawn of Independence.

We will have wasted half a century reinventing the wheel, at the end of Mwai Kibakis rule.

We hope that in the likelihood that there will be public hearings in an attempt to corral the wolves amongst us, we will get some form of retribution in seeing some of our most “prominent” personalities in jail and physical infrastructure being rehabilitated from the repatriated billions.
