NB. i forgot to tell you that when using 'mwari' to mean sister, it has to be accompanied with 'wa maitu' i.e mwari wa maitu for sister
mwari wa baba for Step sister.

In kikuyu the letter 'B' is pronounced as 'F' therefore 'baba' should be pronounced as 'fafa'.......its not a hard language....just a funny simple language

"cii gikuyu itiri ukabi" is a Gikuyu proverb. It's literal meaning would be "whatever is in kikuyuland is not in maasailand". It was used to emphasise the need for unity and sharing among the kikuyu community (I stand to be corrected)

lol! who am I? that's an interesting question. I am one person who likes making friends and interacting with them, sharing information and experiences. The reason why am always in this site because it has been like a second home to me where I meet my brothers (Sajini, Papa Daad, Wa Kihia, Karumba, Ngii Ndune and the rest) and my sisters (Maria, Wagatere, Wamacharia...).
